Problems

Ok, my names Mandy. I have a Red Dell Laptop with vista. I've had it for almost two years and never had any curser problems aside from the usual frozen screen. My laptop was working fine all day. I turned it off to speak with my dad and when I turned it back on the curser had stopped working. The little arrow wasn't even on the screen. I can work the shift, arrows, enter, and anything on the keyboard, but I need my mouse. Do I have to buy a new computer? Or is their something I can do to save the one I have? (I've already rebooted it)
